For this final graded Discussion Board, you will be focusing on how intentional educators use specific goals to inform curriculum, create an appropriate classroom setting, provide activities using DAP, use assessment, and incorporate child-centered and educator-centered strategies in early childhood settings.

Here are many ways to be able to promote learning and growth, it all depends on the child and how you are able to communicate with the child. One of the best ways to be able to scaffold and see what a child knows is by asking them if they are at a talking age different questions and trying to get bits of information. I like to use the phrase activating prior knowledge, and as the text says “Ask students to share their own experiences, hunches, and ideas about the content or concept of study and have them relate and connect it to their own lives” (Alber, 2014)……….
