Unit 2 Journal Learning about a Child’s Family

Learning is enhanced when you take time to reflect on the process. This week, you will have a Journal Assignment that asks you to address the content for the unit. Your reflection and writing will help with your understanding of the content covered.

Learning about a Child’s Family

CE215 Unit 2 Journal Learning about a Child’s Family When you know and understand the families of children in your care, you will have a better understanding of the children. The relationships that children have with their parents and those who care for them help build the foundation for the child’s development. Your Journal is based on the video Relationships in the Early Years (which you watched as part of your readings for this week), and identifies what you understand about building relationships with children.

In at least 200 words, please respond to the following:

  • How will you include families and other caregivers as you plan curriculum?
  • Explain what you hope to learn by connecting with the families of the children and provide two specific examples of how you will make these connections.

Submitting Your Journal

Please submit your file to the Unit 2 Journal Dropbox.

CE215 Unit 2 Journal Learning about a Child’s Family Answer
