It may seem excessive to consider aspects of caring and compassion in nursing. However, precisely because it IS nursing makes it crucial to our continual progress of defining and upholding one of our central professional principles.

Among the plethora of approaches, the ACE Star Model of Knowledge Transformation and the Advancing Research and Clinical Practice through Close Collaboration (ARCC) model have emerged as significant contributors, facilitating the integration of research findings into nursing practice (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2011).
The ACE Star Model, developed by Stetler and Marram (1976), delineates the intricate process of transforming knowledge into practice. It encompasses five essential stages: Discovery, Evidence Summary, Translation, Integration, and Evaluation.
