The fake account is used to show romantic interest in the targeted teen, and many deceptive techniques are used to make the targeted teen think that the fake account actually belongs to a real person. The holder of the fake account eventually reveals the trick, posting screenshots on a popular social media platform of embarrassing texts and admissions by the targeted teen. A few days later, the targeted teen waits for the cyberbully outside of school and physically attacks the cyberbully, sending the cyberbully to the hospital. The parents of the cyberbully want to press charges against the targeted teen.

JD2001: The Evolving Definition of Juvenile Answer.

Juvenile delinquency is a violation of criminal law by minors. A juvenile delinquent, therefore, is a minor who has committed a crime. The House of Refuge was the first institution of juvenile delinquency in the United States way back in 1825 (Lawrence & Hemmens, 2008). The House of Refuge was intended to prevent putting together seasoned offenders with children. This is with the argument that this might increase the chances of the kids becoming adult criminals. With the help of the Society for the Prevention of Pauperism, the House of Refuge was set to be a model of a school rather than a place of punishment. Later on, the House of Refuge changed to special correction programs for juveniles. The juvenile correction institutions protect juveniles from contact with adult criminals, just like the House of Refuge. To focus more on rehabilitation, the juvenile institution is called youth development centers of training schools (Siegel, 2016). Through the creation of juvenile courts, the juvenile became a distinct legal and social age group. This is through different roles between adult courts and juvenile courts. Juvenile courts are modeled with the aim of guiding and helping juvenile delinquents. The court focuses more on the offender more than on the offense. For instance, juvenile courts cannot impose the death penalty and there is age limit on confinement.
