    In Salvage the Bones, one of the most prevalent themes and schools of thought permeated through the story is neglectful and brutal parenting. A nation is the parent of its citizens, and the laws that it makes are the guiding principles of its parenthood. In the month of June 2021, the Hungarian parliament passed a law that banned gay content in schools (Ghosh). As such, any content that is deemed gay or homosexual in any measure shall not be disseminated in any school.
