What environmental issues NBB has to address, and how have they approached these issues?
NBB is way ahead of a lot of other companies when it comes to sustainability. They have approached a few different environmental issues. Such as; energy-saving techniques, recycling, and waste prevention To save energy, they installed wind turbines and solar panels to power their electricity. NBB is “the first fully powered brewery in the United States” (Ferrell et al, 2019, p. 420). They have also encouraged their employees to ride their bikes to work instead of driving. Employees are even given a bike after one year of employment to encourage alternative transportation. NBB investments to be more eco-friendly have paid off…………..
