Mandatory release involves the community supervising the parolee under the supervision of the court system and not the parole board. The judge will not be taking part in the mandatory release when it comes to how much time is being spent on parole, the administrative goal is to be fair and comply with all the laws. However, this mandatory release supervision can be extended through a parole officer. The parole officer can revoke the offender’s privileges and send them back to prison (Stojkovic & Lovell (2019)(para. 2)………….
