1: Complete the Life and Health Practices Profile (130 Points)

Lifestyle and Health Practices Profile Description of Typical Day I normally wake up at 5 am, prepare, and drive to work as an acute care nurse in a local care facility. I clock in at 7:30 am and take a lunch break from 12 noon to 12:30 pm. I clock out at 6:00 pm, drive back home, arrive around 7:30 pm, rest, prepare and have dinner, and complete course assignments before going to bed at 12 am.

Nutrition and Weight Management Questions What do you eat in a typical day? What type of foods do you prefer, how often do you eat throughout the day, and about how much do you eat? I often skip breakfast due to time constraints, opting for coffee to stay alert at work. During work, I grab fast food and a cola from the facility’s café. For dinner, I aim for a healthy home-cooked meal with small but sufficient portions. Despite a preference for homemade food, my busy schedule leads me to eat out more.

Do you eat out frequently, or mainly prepare meals at home? If you eat out, what type of restaurants do you usually eat at? I frequently eat breakfast and lunch out, primarily at the facility’s cafeteria or nearby fast-food restaurants. I prepare homemade dinner about 2/3 of the week.

Do you tend to eat only when hungry? Have you noticed if your eating habits change when you are stressed, bored, or depressed? I am inclined to eat only when hungry. When stressed, bored, or depressed, I consume more coffee than meals.
