As the course concludes, my journey has been marked by the acquisition of profound knowledge and insights into leadership and the role of the Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). Specifically, I have successfully achieved Outcome #4, MSN Essential II, and NP Core Competencies #2.
In addressing Program Outcome #4, which emphasizes the integration of values through scholarship and service in healthcare, this course has equipped me with extensive knowledge on applying scholarly approaches to nursing education, practice, and research. Moreover, I have gained a deep understanding of professional standards governing the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and safe patient care. Given the growing ethical concerns in nursing practice, it is incumbent upon me, as an APN, to apply this outcome in making critical decisions related to ethical considerations.
