There’s a few things that I could do to convey my respect for a family’s personal choices and values but the most important one would be to ensure that I am not biased or push my opinions on them even if I do not agree with a choice that they may have made regarding their child. I am to provide resources and suggestions and let the parents make the decision based on their views and what they think will be best for their child and their family.
